Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Monitor and provide coaching daily activities of Sales Representatives
- Train and develop Sales Representatives by sharpening their wine knowledge, sales skills and business acumen
- Set distribution, sales goals, and performance expectations individually for each Sales Representative
- Accountable for evaluating the performance of all Sales Representatives in assigned district and provide coaching and on-going feedback
- Analyze sales performance by reviewing reports and recaps on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Communicate pertinent information to Sales Representatives, Region Manager and Senior Management on sales initiatives, market trends and competitor activities
- Identify and resolve problems with accounts or Sales Representatives in district in a timely matter
- Create and implement execution plan to hit sales goals
- Responsible for working within budget and monitoring all expense reports and samples for district
- Recruiting, screen and interview applicants for district
- Conduct effective monthly district sales meetings to communicate information, review sales and present wine education
- Other duties as assigned by Region Manager
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years wine sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred
- Must demonstrate proven management ability and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and and public speaking skills are required
- Availability and willingness to work flexible hours and weekends are required
- Must be able to lift and carry a 50 lbs. case of wine
- Must possess a current driver’s license; maintain current auto insurance and a clean driving record

The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000-106,000. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
In addition to the salary, district managers are eligible for a discretionary bonus, $500 a month auto allowance, gas card for business, company issued cell phone, expense account and other sales incentives.
