Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Demand Planning:
- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and forward 3‑year demand forecasts at state and SKU, ensuring alignment with financial, sales, and commercial strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to incorporate business assumptions, pricing, promotions and market insights into forecasts.
- Lead monthly S&OP sales planning calls and quarterly financial reforecast discussions; identify forecast gaps, risks, opportunities and trend shifts.
- Manage ORI demand planning processes, including pricing and financial data integration, forecast maintenance, performance scorecards, and statistical forecast tuning.
- Train and support Sales teams on ORI utilization, forecasting analysis, and best practices.
- Analyze pricing and incentive impacts on demand and incorporate these effects into the demand signal.
Supply Planning:
- Translate demand forecasts into executable supply plans aligned with budgeted volumes and cost assumptions.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Portfolio Management, and suppliers to place orders, resolve constraints, and maintain continuity of supply.
- Monitor supply risks, capacity limitations, and vendor performance.
- Lead process improvements to enhance supply visibility, planning accuracy, and responsiveness.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory strategies to balance service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory health, including slow‑moving, excess, obsolete and out of stock items; conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution plans.
- Optimize replenishment parameters (safety stock, reorder points, inventory targets) based on demand and supply variability.
- Partner with Warehousing to ensure inventory accuracy and alignment with system data.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline inventory management processes.
Job Requirements
Essential Skills, Experience, and Education
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of supply chain, scheduling, or production/operations experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Proven experience in demand, supply, financial, or operations planning within a consumer goods environment
- Experience with ERP and planning software applications
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with expert skills in Excel
- Demonstrated analytical ability and understanding of supply/demand planning concepts
- Innovative and strategic mindset; adept at problem solving and process enhancement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with various disciplines and stakeholders
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of colleagues and managers
Pay Range
The annual salary for this role ranges from $110,000 - $140,000. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
